Standards

Crucial to the ethos of the AFC is a wholehearted commitment to upholding best practice and the highest standards at all times and without compromise.

As an organisation we are well versed in fundraising regulations and are often at the forefront of government policy-making decisions. All of our members are amongst the highest qualified fundraising professionals in the UK and we constantly promote the ongoing professional development of our members.

All members sign our Code of Practice, together with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, when they join the AFC.



Experience

In order to uphold and maintain the highest levels of fundraising practice, we welcome like-minded members who share our high standards.

Full membership, whether for companies or individual consultants, is open to those who have been trading for at least two years and whose principals have been full-time fundraising consultants for at least five years.

All our members offer a wealth of experience with a wide range of different client organisations, both nationally and internationally, which they share amongst one another.
