The WHO Foundation
The WHO Foundation was set up in 2020 to support the work and mission of the World Health Organization by raising funds across the world. We started work with them during 2020 to help them develop their first fundraising strategy and secure much needed start-up funding. Following the adoption of the strategy, a senior IFCo consultant was embedded with the team for 2 years to help deliver their fundraising programme.

Case Study

The National Army Museum
We worked with the National Army Museum initially to review the progress of their £24m capital appeal, and help them develop a strategy to complete the fundraising, which was falling short of their target. Once the issues were identified and addressed, an IFCo consultant was assigned to manage the process, exceeding target. We were subsequently approached again to provide interim cover for their Director of Development until a permanent appointment could be made.

Case Study

Neurotherapy Centre
Based near Chester, the Neurotherapy Centre provides support for people with long-term neurological conditions and their carers. We initially worked with them in 2014 to help them prepare for a major capital campaign, which was unable to proceed as the identified site fell through. We were approached to pick up the campaign more recently when a new building adjacent to their existing facility became available. We were able to help them secure the funding needed over a short time period to secure the building and carry out the necessary renovations. We also advised them on their long-term revenue fundraising strategy, helping them identify areas for growth and put in place the resources and infrastructure needed.
