Our history

Charity Fundraising Ltd was established in 2000 and has become one of the UK’s leading consultancy services for charities, social enterprises and other not for profit organisations.

Our team

We are staffed by eight consultants who each bring with them between 10-20 years’ experience of fundraising across multiple disciplines within the voluntary sector. Our staff are all directly employed by us and we work very closely together which ensure that we can combine our skills and knowledge for the benefit of our clients.

Our impact

Since we began, we have worked with and supported 400 organisations across the UK to secure funds. Our team has raised more than £51 million for charities and social enterprises across the country from over 500 different funders. Beyond this we have also supported organisations to develop and implement robust income generation strategies that have helped them to significantly increase their income and strengthen their fundraising approaches.

Finally, we also offer support to help organisations identify their social impact. This enables them to continuously improve and showcase the impact of their work to funders, commissioners and partners.

Case Study

Sickle Cell Society
The Sickle Cell Society is the only national organisation which provides support for people with Sickle Cell Disease. Charity Fundraising Ltd started working with the charity in 2014 and has so far secured £2,936,798 directly for the society through grants and tenders. In addition to this, we have also worked with them to develop a new fundraising strategy to help build growth in individual giving and community fundraising as well working with them on a new organisation wide outcomes framework and project evaluations.

Case Study

Tom Harrison House
Tom Harrison House is an addiction recovery centre based in Liverpool which specialises in supporting military personnel. We started working with Tom Harrison House in 2017 initially on a handful of grant funding applications. At that time, income was around £400k. Tom Harrison House have continued to reappoint us year on year and to date we have secured £1,960,321 in grant funding. We have also supported them to secure statutory contracts as well as to develop their approaches to corporate funders too.

Case Study

Highbury Roundhouse
Highbury Roundhouse is a community centre which began life in the 1970’s and which provides a diverse range of activities and support for everyone in the local area. In 2013, the building was set to be demolished following a dangerous structures notice. Devastated, the local community petitioned to save the building and new plans to rebuild on the same site were developed. We were engaged by Highbury Roundhouse to identify potential funding opportunities and to take forward applications to secure the necessary funds for the building work. We helped Highbury Roundhouse to consult with the local communities and develop their approaches to bodies such as The National Lottery Community Fund, Clothworkers Foundation, and Sport England to name but a few. Overall, we supported Highbury Roundhouse to secure £1,228,258 and their new building opened in February 2023!
