Nuisha is a passionate, results-driven fundraiser who works with charities to increase their income from trusts and foundations. In this highly competitive environment, where trusts frequently receive more than 800 applications, she can make your application stand out.

Nuisha’s philosophy is to thoroughly understand the charity’s projects and help them collect meaningful impact data so she can write more compelling and persuasive funding applications. She helps charities research funders and draw up a pipeline of trusts and funders, develop a case for support, and write compelling applications. She also writes timely, impactful progress reports, which help develop long-term relationships with funders and have sometimes resulted in larger future donations.

Nuisha has raised over two million pounds from trusts and foundations during her 14-year fundraising career. Since becoming a freelance trusts fundraiser in 2022, Nuisha has worked with two charities on a long-term basis, attracting multi-year funding for their projects. She has increased one of the charities’ trust income by 63% in just two years.

Case Study

Amos Trust
Amos Trust is a creative human rights organisation. Amos Trust is a small UK-based, creative human rights organisation. For nearly 40 years, they have been working with vibrant international partners to challenge injustice, build hope, and create change. Nuisha has been working with Amos Trust since 2022. The charity wanted someone to increase their income from trusts. They receive excellent support from individuals and community members, but only 10% of their income was from trusts. ​Nuisha compiled a pipeline of trusts and funders to apply to, first raising money for projects in three African countries and India, which help girls and women move off the streets, secure employment and take control of their lives. Nuisha attracted significant income for this work and is now focusing on raising funds for their work in Gaza. She also helped fund their Climate and Gender Fellowship, which is supporting 12 female activists in Central America to deliver climate action projects. ​Over a two-year period, Nuisha has increased the charity’s trust income by 63%, whilst making sure Amos Trust’s existing funders get timely, high-quality reports, that comply with their grant reporting requirements. This has enabled Amos Trust to fund new areas of their work and develop relationships with funders so they keep giving. ​ ​
